The "Shanghai Summer School (3S)" Russian program hosted by Shanghai International Studies University have brought together 30 students from different regions of Russia to spend a fulfilling and unforgettable summer vacation with teachers and students from SISU. As the organizer of the program, the School of Chinese Studies and Exchange not only carefully designed Chinese courses for students to meet the needs of students at different levels, but also held lectures and visits, so that students can know more about Shanghai and China even. In the Chinese course students can interact with the teacher in real time and experience the lively classroom atmosphere. Students said that although the time of participating in the Russian project was not long, it was full of rewards, and their Chinese proficiency was rapidly improved. The lectures were held four times in total, and the topics of lectures included both traditional Chinese culture and the politics and economy of contemporary China, giving students the opportunity to understand China from different perspectives. The visit activities allow students to fully understand natural and cultural features of Shanghai and its surrounding areas. Students not only visited famous attractions such as the Bund, Nanjing Road, the site of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China, and the City God Temple, but also visited Lingang enterprises, and experienced the life of Shanghainese under the leadership of international students in our school. Although the "Shanghai Summer School (3S)" Russian program is over, the students' enthusiasm for learning Chinese is even higher, and they are more looking forward to coming to China to study or travel to Shanghai. Many students said that they would like to join "Shanghai Summer School (3S)" Russian program again.
