Sponsored by Shanghai municipal government, and hosted by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, 2023 Shanghai Summer School - Business Chinese Language and Business Culture Immersion Program enrolls overseas students who have acquired basic knowledge of Chinese language and are interested in Chinese business culture. The four-week (from July 3, 2023 to July 28, 2023) program consists of business Chinese language course, lectures on China’s social and economic development, and group project. Online instruction will be adopted for all the modules. The program is designed to help participants improve their communication skills needed to function efficiently and effectively in business settings, gain an understanding of China’s globalizing business environment, commercial opportunities that China presents, distinctive path of social and economic development, develop their cultural competencies and knowledge in relation to modern Chinese society, and build up soft skills through learning and collaborating with peers from different countries.
